STUDIO POLICIES: Make the Most of Your Time in the Studio
Health
Please refrain from attending class if you are feeling unwell in anyway, including cold-like symptoms. If you are living with, or are a close contact of someone with Covid-19 or cold-like symptoms, we respectfully request that you not visit the studio for a minimum of 5 days. As much as we all want the pandemic to be over with, we still need to remain diligent and look out for one another.
age policy
Participants must be at least 18 years old to attend class. Participants who are 15-17 years old may attend class with a guardian present, provided that a legal guardian has signed their liability waiver. Please e-mail us at move@moveology.ca if you require us to send you the waiver beforehand.
Booking / Cancellation / Waitlist
All purchases are non-transferable and non-refundable. We know things come up, but to keep things fair for everyone, class cancellations must be made at least 8 hours before morning (9:30 am and earlier) and weekend classes, and 4 hours before all other classes to avoid a fee. Late cancels or no-shows will result in one class being deducted for pass holders or a $15 fee for monthly members. If your pass includes a monthly courtesy late cancel, it will be applied automatically.
Cancellations can only be made online through your account—we’re unable to accept them over the phone or via email. If you’re added to class from the waitlist, the same cancellation policy applies.
Please arrive at least 10 minutes before class starts. Waitlisted spots will be given to those present at the start of class if space allows. To keep classes running smoothly and safely, late entry and early departures aren’t permitted. When there is no front desk staff present, the studio doors will be locked at the start of class time.
Thanks for your understanding and helping us keep the good vibes going!
Membership Suspension / Cancellation
Multi and Max Mover memberships allow for one 30-day suspension per year with 2-weeks notice given. Contract cancellation requires 30-days notice and can only be cancelled once the minimum time commitment has been achieved. Auto-renewing memberships will continue after the minimum time commitment has been reached, until a cancellation request has been received. Please e-mail suspension and cancellation requests.
New Mover Passes W/ Membership
Unlimited monthly members receive a certain number of New Mover passes per month. In order to use them, have the New Mover create a Moveology account. The Moveology membership holder should then phone or email the studio to let us know the name of the New Mover and which class they should be enrolled into. Please note that New Mover passes are for first time attendees to Moveology only.
Studio Etiquette
All participants must complete the Moveology waiver before attending their first class.
Please arrive at least 10 minutes before class and check in at the front desk. For everyone’s safety and to keep classes running smoothly, late entry is not permitted more than 5 minutes after class begins (if front desk staff are present). When there is no front desk staff, the studio doors will be locked at the class start time.
We ask that all participants stay for the full duration of class — late entry and early departure are not allowed.
Our entire space, including the change room and washrooms, is gender neutral.
Lockers are available for your use — no code required! Please store all personal belongings (except your water and sweat towel) in a locker during class.
To maintain a calm, focused environment, please keep conversation to a minimum and enjoy this time away from your screen 😉
All class equipment is provided. After class, please wipe down everything you used with the provided wipes.
For your convenience, towels and a shower are available, stocked with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash.
