  • Headshot of yoga instructor Katie

    Katie

Katie’s love of movement started early with dance and swimming. She found yoga as a teenager and got serious about it after being immersed in it on a trip to India. She completed her 250-hour teacher training in the Ashtanga tradition in 2011. While it continues to be the foundation of her own practice and what she teaches, she has also trained and taught in hot and vinyasa flow styled practices, as well as prenatal and senior yoga and fitness.

After having her 3 boys (particularly her younger twins), she started focusing more on mobility, strength and functional movement, as the need to put herself back together was real!

Her classes are a journey in finding strength and length in the body. Bonus: greater mobility and comfort within the physical body facilitates greater ease of mind.

  • Headshot of barre and fitness instructor Melissa

    Melissa

Melissa had been teaching barre since 2018 but fell in love with it a few years before that, when she found her love of movement and music after focusing her time at home with her kids. Barre became more than just a workout, but a place to reconnect with other women and build a strong foundation of strength and endurance to keep up with her growing kids!

Melissa loves the classic moves of barre and pushing through that extra set that you would never do at home on your own. She loves teaching the Move with Baby classes because she understands how important it is to take care of yourself while raising little ones.

When not in the studio, Melissa likely is reading or cheering on her kids at one of their activities. Her kids listen and check out all the latest dance music releases with her and her daughter is a constant source of good chill music for her cool downs.

  • Headshot of barre and yoga instructor Vanessa

    Vanessa

Vanessa was a sporty kid but drifted away from fitness as a teenager. When she found group fitness classes, she fell in love. The sick music, inspiration from other badass women in class and the instructors helped reignite her love for movement, which eventually motivated her to take the leap to attend her first barre instructor training. After teaching barre classes for a few years, Vanessa took the leap and decided to become a yoga instructor as well.

Vanessa began teaching fitness classes at 21 years old and her career path quickly shifted to align with her love for group fitness and yoga. She currently manages a corporate gym by day and is a yoga teacher and barre instructor by (early morning) and night!
